Blood Red
AMY, ERIC, JEN and DAN are best friends looking to dine out. They struggle to find a restaurant that isn’t busy and booked. In their search, they turn onto an eerie and abandoned street. A flashing sign that reads Fortune Cookie suddenly catches their attention. As they enter this empty diner, Amy senses malevolence all around her, especially coming from the gypsy like WOMAN who greets them.
The meal is finished and the others except Amy have read their promising fortune cookies. Finally Amy is persuaded to open her cookie. What she reads terrifies her to the bone. Eric demands that the owner explain. Apologetic, the woman promises them a free meal. All leave satisfied with the exception of Amy who as she departs hears the woman chanting in an unfamiliar language.
From that point on, all hell breaks loose. Amy’s behavior is gruesome and frightening to say the least. Her chilling actions terrify those close to her and eventually lead to her dismissal at work. Becoming increasingly concerned, Eric encourages her to seek medical attention. After seeing numerous specialists without any answers, she is forcibly admitted to a psychiatric ward diagnosed with a psychotic disorder.
On the ward, she meets another patient STANLEY who has the same symptoms. He informs Amy that she is cursed and must remove the curse otherwise she will die. As Amy deteriorates, she is strapped to her bed and heavily medicated. In the meantime others like Amy inexplicably die, including Stanley.
Medicine having failed Amy, Eric seeks out the wisdom of the local priest, FATHER MONROE who first suggests regular prayer but after that fails, he recommends as a last resort seeing an unusual and eccentric man, GANDALF. This long bearded and long haired man declares that Amy is indeed cursed and that Eric must follow a series of steps to remove the curse otherwise she will die as others have before her. He further explains the shocking reason why Amy was cursed by a 21st century witch.
Eric frantically follows through on the set of actions knowing that Amy will soon perish if he doesn’t. The frenzy and tension mount as this horrific tale comes to an unpredictable and bizarre end that will surely shock and surprise.
